we ran into a couple of feral puppies while hiking through the power line cut that this trail followed.

This trail was a little steep and muddy in places. Mostly fine, but also tiring at such a high elevation.

If you were to follow the trail we were on near the powerline you would eventually (after a couple of days, I think?) reach the other entrance of the park, near Orosio, which we had previously visited.
